Marking Its 9th Anniversary, SII Holds Blood Donation As A Symbol Of Gratitude

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) organized a series of events to commemorate the company's ninth anniversary. One of the activities was a blood donation drive held at the SIGnature Lounge, The East, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (June 3, 2025), attended by dozens of employees and local residents.

This humanitarian effort, a collaboration between SII and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of South Tangerang, carried the theme Upgrade, Dominate, Elevate. The theme reflects the company's spirit of continuously being present and delivering tangible benefits to the surrounding community—not only through its products and services but also through humanitarian actions.

SII President Director Ridwansyah stated that this event symbolized the company’s gratitude for its nine-year journey and served as a tangible expression of the humanitarian values it upholds. The blood donation drive was met with enthusiastic participation from SII employees, employees of other companies based at The East, and nearby residents.

“We successfully collected more than 57 bags of blood, which will be distributed to patients in need through PMI. In addition to the blood donation, SII’s anniversary celebration also featured various other social initiatives, such as distributing shoes to children at Rumah Belajar Senen,” said SII Anniversary Event Coordinator, Shila.

These various activities are part of SII’s commitment to nurturing a culture of care, sharing, and growing together with the community.
