SII Celebrated Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day With A Variety Of Activities To Strengthen Togetherness

PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) joined in the celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia by organizing a variety of activities and competitions involving the Company’s Directors and employees. Embracing the spirit of independence, the event served as an opportunity to strengthen togetherness, foster sportsmanship, and create an increasingly positive and harmonious working environment.

The lively event was held at the Signature Lounge, The East, South Jakarta, on Thursday, August 27, 2026. From the beginning of the event, the venue was filled with enthusiasm and excitement among the employees in attendance. Dressed in red-and-white-themed attire, SII employees demonstrated their patriotic spirit while actively participating in the entire series of activities.

A variety of competitions were organized in both team and individual categories. Team competitions included badminton, padel, and various traditional Indonesian games that emphasized teamwork and sportsmanship. Meanwhile, the individual competition featured a Scrabble competition, which challenged employees’ strategic thinking, accuracy, and speed.

Beyond being a competitive event, the series of activities also provided an opportunity for employees to interact and build stronger connections outside their daily work routines. The desire to win was accompanied by mutual support and respect, creating an atmosphere that further strengthened camaraderie among employees.

Acting President Director, R. Trisandi Hendrawan, emphasized that, under any circumstances, as part of the Indonesian nation, everyone should continue to take pride in being part of the country. This spirit is one of the ways to honor and contribute to the meaning of independence through togetherness, meaningful contributions, and positive actions.
