Celebrate 8th Anniversary, SII Holds Badminton Cup 2024

Celebrating 8th anniversary, PT Semen Indonesia International (SII) held a special event that combined the spirit of sports and collaboration among companies. The event took the form of an Inter-Company Badminton Tournament participated in by representatives of employees from various companies.

The participating companies included PT Semen Indonesia International, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Semen Tonasa, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk, PT Mitra Kiara Indonesia, PT Sinergi Informatika Semen Indonesia, PT Sinergi Mitra Investama, PT Semen Gresik, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk, and PT GS Global Indonesia. It was held at the GOR Mega Kuningan Badminton on Monday (10/0624).

The SII Badminton Cup 2024 was not just a platform to showcase talent and sportsmanship but also served as an opportunity to strengthen the network of collaboration among companies. The tournament featured 16 men's doubles teams and 9 women's doubles teams competing for a total prize of Rp12 million. One of the participants, Indah Putri, expressed that the event was filled with enthusiasm while maintaining a high level of sportsmanship and hoped that the SII Badminton Cup could be held annually.

Imam Azzumar, the organizer of the SII Badminton Cup, emphasized that the event was not only about celebrating SII's achievements over the past eight years but also about appreciating the cooperation and friendship that had been established in the business world. Azzumar stated, "The spirit and unity of the participants were remarkable. We are grateful for the participation of contestants from various provinces to enliven this event, and if there are any shortcomings, we ask for feedback for future improvements."

The event concluded with the announcement of the winners of the SII Badminton Cup 2024. The results were: 1st place Men's Doubles PT Semen Baturaja Tbk, 2nd place Men's Doubles PT Semen Tonasa, 3rd place Men's Doubles PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, 1st place Women's Doubles PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, 2nd place Women's Doubles PT Semen Baturaja Tbk, and 3rd place Women's Doubles PT Mitra Kiara Indonesia.

Through the SII Badminton Cup 2024, PT Semen Indonesia International not only promoted the spirit of sports in the workplace but also strengthened inter-company relationships, making their 8th anniversary a meaningful and memorable celebration for all involved.
